The Perfect Fall Coat

All my fellow New England mamas can probably relate to the STRUGGLE that is: finding a cute, good quality but also warm coat for our littles when the temperatures around here drop.

Elle was born in November, so she was bundled up from head to toe in a Patagonia one piece since we brought her home. But now that she's almost three, I want her to be able to have some outerwear that doesn't make her look like the Michelin Man.

Enter: MerriMane, a luxury inspired brand of jackets for babies and children. The owner, Jasmine Hodgson, is a Maine girl, who lives in Connecticut, so a true New Englander at heart, and clearly she gets the whole "brrrr it's cold here, but we still need our kids to have stylish high quality outerwear".

There are three basic styles for the jackets (which I appreciate, because I tend to get overwhelmed and can't ever make a decision) and all are made with their signature Velveteen Fleece. It's as soft as it looks.

For Elle, I chose the Cruise Jacket in Blush (of course!), because I knew it would go with everything!

It fit very TTS (true to size), since Elle will be 3 in a month, the 3T was perfect for her, with room to grow into for this upcoming winter.

We already got to wear in twice, and I had to put it in the wash this past weekend, because... well she's a toddler, and naturally got ice cream and who knows what else on it, when we were visiting family in Western Mass.
