A Night Out with Hyannis Sound.

A couple of months ago, Peter Carboni from the Hyannis Sound, an all male A Cappella group, reached out to me and asked if my family and I were interested in attending one of their summer concerts on Cape Cod. I immediately said yes! Elle loves music, so I knew she would have a blast, plus it was something different for us to do during our normally lazy summer nights.

Also, I'll take any excuse to TWIN with my mini, especially in one of our favorite Lilly Pulitzer prints {Southern Charm, for those of you who are interested, although this one is from a few seasons back}.

The concert took place at the First Congretional Church of Falmouth, right on Main St. in downtown Falmouth. We didn't know how long the concert would last, so we decided Elle would have an early dinner before we left the house, and we would grab something to eat afterwards {downtown Falmouth has SO many fantastic restaurants}.

We arrived right around 7 p.m. {I can never get out the door at the time I actually plan on getting out the door}, and there was a short wait at the entrance, which was actually the perfect opportunity for us to snap some pics.

The guys began shortly after 7 p.m., and made a grand entrance, singing, dancing, and snapping, and set the mood for the whole night!

There were so many amazing performances of new and old hits, such as "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran, and my all time favorite "Ring of Fire" by the one and only Johnny Cash {the guys actually debuted that performance that evening}.

I loved that they not only performed, but also took the time to introduce each member of the 2018 Hyannis Sound, by sharing a funny tidbit, and some background information. This was a great way to make a connection, and they made everyone laugh at their stories.

There was an intermission after an hour, and we went outside for a bit, to snap some more photos around the beautiful church, but also, because the little one needed to burn off some energy.

The concert lasted another hour... and actually a bit longer, but we had to sneak out before it was completely over, because... well we have a 2.5 year old, and it was 9 p.m. and WAY past her bedtime.

So if you're stuck on what to do around the Cape, this would be the perfect day: 1. go to the beach, 2. grab an early dinner, 3. go see the Hyannis Sound. You won't regret it. You can find their full summer schedule right here!

Thanks for having us guys, we loved getting to know you and think that you are all incredibly talented! Until next time!
