Procrastination Is My Friend.

In college, I pretty much always started and finished my cramming for exams the night before. In grad school, I put off writing all my long long long research papers until the day prior. I mean I still got them done, and yes maybe I was up until 5 in the morning, drinking a whole lot of coffee, but hey, I got them in!

When I go on trips, in my little head I plan on packing well in advance. I have these inner talks with myself where I say “you will make your list on Monday, you will do all your vacay laundry on Tuesday, you will put it all in your suitcase by Wednesday”… and so on. But in reality, Friday night rolls around and there is no list, no laundry, and no suitcase in sight {literally, we went and bought this big red bad boy the day before our trip, thank you T.J. Maxx}. In fact, I’m guaranteed to have the “my flight is in 10 minutes, I have nothing packed, I’m running around frantically throwing random things in my suitcase” nightmare the night before my flight. Always.

So it only seems appropriate that my first few posts are going to about something that happened over two months ago. I’ve been meaning to write about this all summer. But you know, life happened...ok ok, I decided to go to the beach every day instead.

Let's break it down. Next post is all about travel advice, and by that I mean a Big Ol' Box of Goldfish.
